Netsuite Configuration Limitations

Netsuite Configuration Limitations

These are key limitations of the Netsuite Connector but may not be only limitations depending on your integration needs. Make sure to discuss your key integration goals with your Bedrock Data sales representative to ensure we can meet your needs.

NetSuite offers many configurations to allow customization for the user. Bedrock supports four NetSuite configurations. Limitations of the Netsuite Connector depend on what Netsuite settings you currently have in place.

You can review these settings in NetSuite by going to Setup->Company->General Preferences.  The two settings that affect how the integration will function are "Default Customer Type" and "Default Lead Type".

Another setting that impacts the integration is the CRM Feature for Lead Conversion. You can turn Lead Conversion on and off by going to Setup > Company > Enable Features and clicking on the CRM tab.

Based on these settings, there are four types of configurations that are supported by Bedrock Data.

Configuration #1:
  • Default Customer and Lead Type are set to Company.

Configuration #2:
  • Default Lead Type is set to Individual and Customer is set to Company with Lead Conversion turned on.

Configuration #3:
  • Default Lead Type is set to Individual and Customer is set to Company with lead conversion turned off

Configuration #4:
  • Both Lead Type and Customer are set to Individual.
