Dynamics 2016 Connector Settings
All Dynamics 2016 customers must use the new Dynamics 2016 Connector found in the Bedrock Data Connector Library in your portal.
Install Dynamics CRM Hosted in the Dynamics Cloud
If you are host your Dynamics CRM in the Dynamics cloud, follow these steps to install the Dynamics 2016 Connector.
Step 1: Choose Dynamics 365 from the Authentication Type drop down
Step 2: Choose your Region (i.e. North America)
Step 3: Enter in your CRM domain. You only need the first part of the domain so if the domain of our Dynamics RM is "https:// bedrockdata.crm.dynamics.com" then I only will enter in "bedrockdata".
Step 4: Enter in a valid Administrative user name. Use the email address associated with the user.
Step 5: Enter in the above user's password and hit Save.
You should receive a green success message after hitting Save. If you get an error message, reach out to our support team at email@example.com.
Install Dynamics CRM that is Self-Hosted
In order for a self-hosted Dynamics CRM to connect to Bedrock, it must have Internet Facing Deployment (IFD) and be using Active Directory Federation Services (ADF). Here are the steps for installing this type of Dynamics CRM:
Step 1: Choose Federation from the Authentication Type
Step 2: Enter in your CRM Domain. You do not need to enter in the HTTPS (i.e. crm.bedrockdata.com)
Step 3: Enter in your CRM user name making sure to use the "\" format (i.e. bedrockdata.com\svc_bedrock)
Step 4: Enter in the above user's password and hit Save.
You should see a green success message after hitting save. If you do not, reach out to our support team for further assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org.
